Fred Busch, Ph.D. is a Training and Supervising Analyst at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.Dr. Busch has published over 80 articles in the psychoanalytic literature, and three books, primarily on the method and theory of treatment. His work has been translated into 11 languages, and he has been invited to present over 180 papers and clinical workshops nationally and internationally. His third book, Creating a Psychoanalytic Mind: A Method and Theory of Psychoanalysis, was published by Routledge 2013.He published "The Analyst's Reveries" in 2019, and in 2020 edited the book; "Dear Candidate:Analysts from all over the world write personal letters to candidates about training, education, and joining the profession. Dr. Busch published "Afresh Look at Psychoanalytic Technique: Selected Papers" in 2021. In 2022 he was editor of Psychoanalysis at the Crossroads, and in 2023, with Natahca Delgado, The Ego and The Id: 100 years later
