To be eligible to sit for the ABP Certification Exam an applicant must be a graduate or candidate from an Institute that is either approved or accredited by the IPA, APsaA or ACPE. These organizations will be reviewed annually to insure consistency with our mission. For the examination applicants must present two cases of different genders seen at a frequency of three to five times a week. The applicant should also be prepared to discuss at the interview a third patient who has been in a three to five times per week analysis. It is not necessary to prepare a written report on this third patient, but the applicant should bring to the interview process (session) material from three sessions, ideally recent, and be prepared to give a brief oral introduction of this third patient prior to discussing the process material.
