Samuel T. Goldberg, M.D. is a Training and Supervising Analyst at the Baltimore Washington Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. A Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, he is also on the faculty of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, where he has three times been named Teacher of the Year. Dr Goldberg was also honored with the Wendell Muncie Award by the Maryland Psychiatric Society. Co-author (with William Goldstein, MD) of the book, Using the Transference in Psychotherapy, (Jason Aronson, Publisher), Dr. Goldberg's recent writings have concerned psychoanalytic perspectives on the works of William Shakespeare. He practices psychiatry and psychoanalysis in Columbia, Maryland.
