I am a psychoanalyst and board certified psychiatrist in private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In addition, I am Assistant Psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Part-Time at Harvard Medical School. I completed my training in adult psychoanalysis at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute in 2015, and I was nationally certified by the American Board of Psychoanalysis in Spring of 2017. In 2013, I became an Accredited Practitioner of Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) for borderline personality disorder. Over the last decade, I have developed expertise in the treatment of individuals with severe psychopathology. I am first author, or senior author, of 13 journal articles and/or book chapters focused on psychoanalytically-informed treatment, or the neurobiological understanding of, psychotic-spectrum disorders. Additionally, in collaboration with colleagues, I have developed a psychotherapy model that adapts the principles and techniques of MBT to the treatment of young people in the early phase of psychotic illnesses.
